Preparing for exhibition tips

Presentation of your company or institution during fair or exhibition can be very useful for you – you can present your products and services to highly specialized group of clients and you can also check your clients’ reactions at yours products and services very quickly.

Preparing company exposition for a fair is not that easy as it looks. It is unnecessary to prepare everything very carefully quite long time before.

If you want to present your company on exhibition, you shall start your preparing at least half year (or even more) before the event. If you send your registration for event in advance (few months or even half a year), you will have extensive line of exhibition places and you will have enough time for preparing high quality exposition.

It is necessary to think over basic parameters of your presentation really hard – goals you want to achieve, budget, documentation and main topic. Define target group and way of their absorption. Your exposition should be imaginative, you have to hold clients interest to not lose in ocean of exhibitors.

When date of exhibition approaches, you should give commission to realisation company, ensure hostesses, guards, translators, prepare invitations etc. Prepare your own team of responsible and flexible persons. You shall also check if there is possibility to get a grant for your company presentation (especially if it is international exhibition).

Just before the fair draw all necessary permits and identity cards, eventually borrowed equipment.

In the course of fair try to pursue selected scenario, try to make contacts as much as possible and communicate with potential clients. It is also very important to observe how your rivals approach to exhibition, what they offer to clients. Have view of your antagonists. And be in touch with media – they are very powerful.

After fair draw up your activity there and moralize at your mistakes. Compare your targets with real effects. Don’t forget to maintain relations with fresh-made contacts – you should need them in the future.
