Our task was to integrate the Social Ecclesiastical Centre into the Municipal Park. It was challenging task for us to make this simple and modest building looking adequate in neighbourhood of office buildings having completely different scale. We decided to use, as the only means helping us to cope with bigger scale of neighbouring buildings, a generous format of a single window leading into the covered exterior space in front of the entrance. This window is the main motive not only of the main north facade but also the whole building, and people behind it are partially shielded from city rush by a jalousie of bamboo bushes. The building heart is the hall, where the basic life of a church takes place but which is also open to other activities - concerts, lectures, etc. The hall is fitted with a balcony accessible from the foyer on the first floor. Certain programs held in the meting hall need a certain quantity of daylight, which is provided by a triangle rooflight and a large window in the hall front wall. A kindergarten on two floors and a preacher's flat form separate parts of the building.
